Concept and creative direction for product collaboration, DISEGNACCI x Reinhard Plank.

Illustrator Emilio Mossa (aka DISEGNACCI) and hat designer Reinhard Plank have come together to create a mini collection of hand-painted, handmade hats. 

With Reinhard Plank’s atelier nestled in the Tuscan countryside, the pair set up an open-air studio in the backyard. Reinhard Plank provided the fabrics and DISEGNACCI painted freely on them, letting light, leaves and the surrounding environment guide the brush.

The hand-painted cloths were then transformed into hats by Reinhard Plank and his team, completing a creative cycle that is as much about process as it is about product.

This collaboration aims to invite people to reconnect with their own creativity. An invitation to slow down, spend time outside, draw more and make things by hand.
